Don’t forget to live in the present moment and soak up every last drop of awesomeness!
It’s time to revisit some sage advice from a previous tip. As your time on Study Abroad winds down it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos. You’re juggling last-minute excursions, final exams, saying goodbye to new friends, and figuring out how to get all your things back home all while looking ahead to things like a summer job, classes and housing next term, family obligations etc. It can be overwhelming.
Don’t let all of these things take you away from being in the present moment wherever you are, though. Every time your attention is distracted by these other things you’re robbed of the precious time you actually have left on Study Abroad! Instead, practice living each moment to the fullest.
Prioritize the things you need to do and try to do them one at a time. Then let go! Instead of worrying about things beyond your control come back to the present moment and enjoy your time and the company you’re with. Doing this can be less stressful and help you avoid leaving with any regrets.
How will you practice living in the present moment as you wrap up Study Abroad?
